Call for Papers for Special Issue: Healthcare Intelligent Control Systems: Trends, Design, and Applications
In recent years, the healthcare has witnessed significant technological advancements, leading to the emergence of healthcare intelligent control systems. These systems use artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and big data analysis to automate and optimize various healthcare processes. According to statistics, AI in the healthcare is growing at a rate of 48% annually (from 2017 to 2023). Healthcare intelligent control systems have the potential to revolutionize healthcare services, enhance patient prognosis, and improve operational efficiency.
Healthcare intelligent control systems have become essential in healthcare due to their ability to enhance patient care, improve operational efficiency, and ensure patient safety. These systems analyze patient data in real-time, enabling healthcare providers to make accurate and timely diagnoses. Additionally, they remotely monitor patients, provide ongoing care, and detect potential health issues early. The automation of routine tasks in healthcare intelligent control systems, such as appointment scheduling and data input, frees up time for healthcare professionals to perform more critical tasks, enabling proactive decision-making and resource planning. Furthermore, these systems can identify and prevent drug errors by cross-referencing patient data, drug interactions, and allergic reactions. In summary, healthcare intelligent control systems can improve the quality of medical care, reduce the risk of errors and treatment delays, and enhance the treatment effectiveness and satisfaction of patients.
This special issue aims to explore the trends, designs, and applications of healthcare intelligent control systems, in order to promote the intelligent development of the healthcare field.
